Welcome to the office of Dr. J. Stephen Robinson! Since I founded Lake Area Pediatrics (LAP) in 2005 I have diagnosed and/or treated hundreds of children with ADHD. After retiring from LAP in August 2017, I continued providing "micro-practice" services specifically in ADHD management for many of my former LAP patients.
I now exclusively provide consultation and medication management for patients 5 to 22 years of age.The practice is physically open to see patients one day a week (Wednesday) with 30-60 minute appointments available from 9 AM to 4 PM. but with after-hours services 24/7. Additional appointments may be possible as demand dictates.
The office is located in the Commonwealth Centre on North 336 Loop West at the corner of Longmire Road (opposite West Conroe Baptist Church). It is presently used for family counseling and psychological services on the other days of the week.
The website at www.conroe-adhd.com is available to review our services, make appointments, request refills and connect via a portal directly to my office (like text messaging) during and after hours. My office phone (below) is a cell phone that will allow you to call directly, leave voice mails and text messages. Instructions for getting onto the Patient Portal are found under CONTACT US. We use electronic Controlled Substance prescribing so you can pick up your prescriptions directly at your pharmacy without having to stop by the clinic.
The practice is specifically for ADHD management in patients under 22 years of age. I do not see adults but can refer you to a skilled practitioner. I use the Direct Primary Care model which is full payment on the date of service. You will be able to pay by cash, credit card or personal check; and will be given a receipt to file the visit with your insurance company for reimbursement or IRS deductions. Simply put, we will not be conducting business with the insurance companies but solely with you. When diagnosis has been established and treatment initiated, your child will only need to visit the office on a semi-annual basis for routine ADHD medication monitoring visits. Any prescriptions required can be electronically transmitted to your pharmacy without an office visit.
Any questions please call the CAS office number 936-525-0813 and leave a voice mail or text message. We will return your call within 2 business days.
If you have an emergency, please call 911 or visit your nearest Emergency Room.
